Artwork Description
This is a nature story about a waterbird family. A young Moorhen born in early spring is about to become a big brother because his parents started their second brood. He is still not good at flying, but now needs to find his own food and help his parents build a nest and raise chicks. At first, he feels lonely and gets scolded by mum and dad but eventually starts enjoying feeding his siblings. The story is based on Moorhens' actual behavior as juvenile helpers.
