Artwork Description
A book cover created for a fictional novel by Zaki Yamani and the winner of the Literary Prize from Jakarta City Art Council. A story filled with so many twists and turns but grounded by an emotional storyline. I wanted something magical but still serene as the story is grounded by something very human; Duality. The duality of childhood and adulthood, womanhood and motherhood, life and death. That theme became my main concept of this artwork.
