Artwork Description
Flowers Neighborhood (Bairro da Flores, in portuguese) was developed during a Vista Alegre´s residence, in Portugal. When I arrived at Vista Alegre, during the winter, I went for a bicycle ride and passed by rows of houses. Many with tiled walls and different colors. I barely saw residents. I developed three little houses that vary in the number of floors. Each one is a family. Although there are no human characters, there are traces of them on every floor, inside and outside the houses.
