Artwork Description
The story is inspired by the illustrator’s own childhood experiences. During Chinese New Year, the illustrator would take a day-and-night train ride with her mother back to her grandmother’s house. This trip was filled with excitement and anticipation, making everything on the train feel like an interesting, grand adventure. Passengers carried large bags, all heading home to celebrate Chinese New Year, immersed in a bustling, joyful, and friendly atmosphere on the train.
