Dog God tells the story of Anna, a brave little girl who lives by herself in a complex world. With the help of her friends, she will experience a great number of adventures and discover the secret of the Dog God. The pictures contain references to Egyptian Art, Science Fiction, and children’s movies in the 1980s. These illustrations use tools including pencils, crayons and digital techniques. The compositions are inspired by graphic design layouts, marking the spine with a large flat colour mass or hiding parts of the image that are concealed from the main character.
