作品描述
这是儿童幻想童话小说《小鱼大河》的插图。一条乐观勇敢的小鱼被大水困在岸上，生命进入倒计时。在这最后8天里，他遇见水白菜、小鸟、小青蛙等等许多新的朋友，也遇到了前来捕鱼的人类，体验了命运的无常和世间的善意，他的坚韧和善良让他收获了超越死亡..
故事的主人公是一条小鱼。他因为一场洪水被困在里一个小水洼里，身边只有一朵水白菜。他惊慌的躲在水白菜的身下，思念着在大河里的家人和朋友们。 / A little fish trapped in a puddle after a flood. Sheltering fearfully beneath a water cabbage, he misses his family and friends from the big river.
小鱼回忆着小时候与好朋友一起玩耍时的快乐时光。 / The little fish reminisced about the happy times playing with his childhood friend.
当洪水退去，河滩上留下了许多大大小小的水洼，这时人类来了，他们是来捉鱼的。 / As floodwaters recede, countless puddles dot the riverbank. Then come the humans - fishing hunters.
有一只很小的小鸟和其他的鸟儿不一样，他想帮助这只被困的小鱼。他曾经向力气更大的大鸟求助，但是大鸟们却各怀鬼胎。 / A small bird, different from others, wants to help the little fish. He sought assistance from big birds, but they all had their own hidden agendas.
被困在水洼里的小鱼幻想着：世界上有没有一种动物，可以像鸟一样飞，像青蛙一样跳，像蚂蚁一样爬，像鱼一样游，像人一样走？ / In his trapped state, the fish wonders: Could there be a creature that flies like birds, leaps like frogs, crawls like ants, swims like fish, and walks like humans?
