Artwork Description
These illustrations come from a picture book called L'isola delle Rose based on the true story of the” Island of Roses”, a micro-nation consisting of a steel island founded in Italy in 1968 off the coast of Rimini. The book has been selected to take part in the Unpublished Picturebook Showcase by dPictus, which took place at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2019.
