Artwork Description
I grew up in the city. As a little girl, I loved to go shopping with my Gran, especially at big department stores, where I could ride escalators and most of all try on all sorts of shoes! My love for department stores never went away. So, I wanted to make a book where I could lead the reader through the whole store. And what better way to do that than to chase after a cheeky girl! The store is full of different characters, each with their own little story. The illustrations in the book are printed in the most popping Pantone colours to make this limited colour palette as vibrant as possible.
