Artwork Description
This work is from a fully illustrated children's book of the same name and comprising 19 folk stories with natural themes from around the world. All the illustrations reference traditional costumes and culture from each region the story is from. I'm submitting five images from five different stories which are tied together compositionally. I've used borders and patterns to emphasise the folklore aspect of the book and to give it a timeless feel.
