This artwork was created in 2023 during a research trip to Yangjiang, Guangdong. It depicts the transformation of the Tanka people’s fishing port, blending past and present. Even during the fishing moratorium, the fishing port is still lively—workers are repairing boats, fishing vessels sway gently, and a few passersby stroll by.
