Inspired by a news story about a girl who got hypoglycaemic while hiking—strangers rummaged through their pockets and bags to offer her food. The kitten in this painting is a hoarder: she not only ties fish to her head and tail but also carefully arranges them. When she meets someone "glum", she reaches out a paw: "Here, have this. Feeling better?"
