Artwork Description
Based on field research on Liubao tea from Guangxi, this multi-colour block print captures the tea’s signature qualities—deep red, rich, aged, and mellow—through layered colours and weathered textures. Blending nostalgic craftsmanship with social scenes, it traces the historic "Tea-Boat Route"—a trade network linking Wuzhou to Southeast Asia. By merging contemporary human geography with cultural storytelling, the artwork transforms Liubao tea’s spirit into visual language.
